Sinbad
During the time when the SSQ, Stacey Q band was rehearsing and recording, I applied for the keyboard spot in a hard rock band
named Sinbad, from Lakewood, CA.
It was heavy, and I liked heavy!
Henry Rabago played guitar through a crunchy Marshall amp.
Steve Langford played bass, and sang.
The band backed me up on some new wave rock music.
I played a digital synth (JX-3P) and vocoder, and sang. The drummer, Eugene Martin sang, as well.
I played a couple times with them at a club in Lakewood.
It lasted a few months, until I was starting to get busy with SSQ.
